We’re presenting this page in English as we’re reaching out to, and working with, local partners and organizations to make this SWEA Vancouver initiative a success.
2010 was an exciting year for SWEA Vancouver as we embarked on our environmental sustainability theme for our members. Our aim was to introduce a ‘green’ focus locally, with the potential to create programs and interest among SWEA members regionally and possibly globally. With its reach of over 8,000 members in 78 chapters in 34 countries, SWEA has the potential to spread the sustainability program across the world.
Currently a local environmental project is underway and will be finished during 2012. The project is based on a member survey of our environmental habits and attitudes as well as environmental information targeting our members. Results will be communicated through a press release when results are available.
